Fighting 15s and Warfare 2008

Warfare is on 22 and 23 November at the Rivermead leisure complex, Reading, and with luck Fighting 15s will be there. However, I cannot guarantee to be there, and you may turn up simply to find Mike on his own with Black Hat Miniatures, and a few surprised and quickly drafted helpers.

The Warfare weekend is most likely to coincide with my wife coming home from hospital for a week’s break before her next session of chemotherapy. However, some friends have very kindly guaranteed to be available for her that weekend, and the likelihood is that I will be able to attend Warfare, if not with an entirely clear conscience.

As a result I will be taking advance orders. Please bear in mind that I am running behind, if manageably, on everything: the business, email, wesbshop updates, domestic tasks, and general co-ordination of the family. Hospital visits currently account for three of every seven days and take five to seven hours out of my day on travel alone.

Advance orders are best submitted by email, and I will eventually acknowledge them; unless I acknowledge them, I cannot guarantee they will be ready to collect at Warfare. Repeat emails asking whether I have received an advance order are almost certain to result in extreme irritation: send it once and be patient.

If the worst happens and I discover at the last moment that I can’t attend Warfare, I will try to drop advance orders off with Mike, so they will be available to collect from the Black Hat stand. Please do not get peeved if by some chance your order is not there.
