Repercussions of Walk the Wight

At the finish line

Ian of Fighting 15s and his wife Janet walked the Wight on  Sunday 16 May, raising a total of £545 between them for the walk’s charity, the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Ian and Janet would like to thank everyone who sponsored them.

They started at 6.42 am and finished at 4.50pm, taking 10 hours 8 minutes to cover the 26.8-mile trek (slightly longer than previously advised, as the route at the end can change a bit).

This morning both of us hurt a bit, and therefore Fighting 15s will not be open today, and there will be a delay in dealing with orders placed at the weekend. Ian will get around to them as soon as possible, and to other orders delayed by the Salute backlog.

Carisbrooke Castle: Ian and Janet reach the halfway mark for Walk the Wight.
