King Jagiello rides again at Fighting 15s

Fighting 15s has re-released the range of 15mm Teutonic Order and Polish forces for Tannenberg 1410 that were originally produced by Oddzial Osmy of Poland, and to which Fighting 15s now holds the rights.

The figures are being produced from new production moulds. The distinctive two-part horses of the range are a thing of the past, because the horses have been remastered as one-piece mounts. The range is also now cast in a traditional tin-lead alloy, rather than the strong and hard zinc-aluminium alloy favoured by Oddzial Osmy.

The initial releases are as follows:

MP01 Polish camp followers and peasant infantry
MP02 Polish and European knights (MP02 can be used to provide European knights for the Teutonic Order)
MP03 King Jagiello and retinue
MP04 Polish Czeladz (Polish cavalry)

MT01 Teutonic Order spearmen
MT02 Teutonic Order crossbowmen
MT03 Teutonic Order knights
MT04 Teutonic Order Grand Master and retinue
MT05 Teutonic Order Knechte

Packs contain 8 foot figure or 4 mounted, except the retinue packs which in basic form comprise three mounted and one foot. Packs cost £3.20 each including VAT.

Fighting 15s is currently remastering the Lithuanian forces necessary to complete the Polish army for Tannenberg. Unfortunately, the Lithuanian horse was left out of the original remastering, which has put back plans to release the Lithuanians at the same time as the Polish and the Teutonic Order. The Lithuanians are expected to be re-released in August 2014.
